Bixi Beer
Brewpub and Restaurant
Logan Square, Chicago
Starting with an ordinary single-story commercial space, Epic brought in the HUGE wow-factor with a major renovation and total transformation of this location. The sprawling footprint of over 11,000 square feet went from raw and “just ok” to an absolutely stellar 2-story brewpub, restaurant, and housing unit. Talk about night and day! Epic really lived up to its name by creating a completely new second floor addition, complete with a brewhouse, fermentation areas, and a 15-barrel system. Getting to the culinary and entertaining side of things, the innovative build-out of new dining and lounging digs, amazing bars and kitchens, and luxe washrooms were achieved with style on both floors. The work details were laser-focused and included masonry, steel, carpentry, M/E/P renovations, brewery installation, and custom interior wall and floor finishes.
The crowned jewel is the gorgeous aluminum and glass retractable skylight roof, towering above the second floor dining area. Just imagine enjoying your evening with the roof opened up to the beautiful sky and stars above!
